Our client is Canadian, public company, with over 9,000 employees and revenues of $1billion. They deliver a range of support services for the creation, management, and operation of infrastructure across Canada and the U.S. Those services include a comprehensive range of integrated facilities management services, industry-leading workforce accommodation solutions, and other support services for a ‘who’s who’ list of clients in the public and private sectors.
We are helping identify their next Business Finance Lead. This role acts as business partner to the senior leadership for a business portfolio, and is responsible for the monthly close activities for business portfolio. This will include, liaison with the sites, review and preparation of the monthly management reports and with comparison analysis against forecasts and budgets, liaising with external stakeholders and preparing monthly and quarterly compliance reports. Additionally, you will prepare the budget and re-forecast reports in conjunction with the individual sites; oversee cash management, supporting finance projects and conduct ‘deep dive’ analysis.
The successful candidate will have a CPA designation and 4-6 years of relevant finance and analysis experience within industry or public accounting/industry. You are a confident user of Excel, and have an appetite for learning new tools in data management. The company is based at their HQ in Mississauga, and the company offers a hybrid model with 3 days in-office (Tues, Wed, Thurs) and a great culture. Compensation comprises a salary in the range of $90-105k, plus target bonus of 10% annually.
