Our client is a Canadian public company and Canada’s largest food and drug retailer and a provider of financial services. The company also owns one of the largest diversified REIT in Canada. As Senior Manager, Internal Control Compliance, you will report to the Senior Director, Financial Reporting and Internal Controls. You will play a key role in supporting the annual internal controls testing program for both parent company and the REIT, with autonomy to design the annual testing plan in alignment with National Instrument (NI) 52-109 regulations. You will lead a team of 3 dedicated ICC professionals, overseeing the testing of approximately 300 controls—split roughly evenly between the two businesses.

The successful candidate will have 5 plus years of progressive risk experience with strong and proven leadership skills and be a qualified CPA or CIA. Total compensation is in the range of $130-150k range including base, bonus and stock plan
