Our client is a large, Canadian-based investment and insurance holding company and family office located in the downtown core. The Company distinguishes between two operating segments; corporate (various companies and investments) and a significant life insurance operation.

The Corporate Accounting Manager will be responsible for the accounting, financial reporting and analysis of a large investment fund and a large focus of the role will be focused on process improvement initiatives and support to new and upgraded system implementations. This person will work closely with the Corporate Controller and the VPF in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages provided to the executive management team and Board of Directors and will be looked upon to provide analytical input and support. The Corporate Accounting Manager will have an important role within financial reporting, performance reporting and ad hoc analyses.

The successful candidate will be a CPA with 4-8 years of similar accounting and finance experience. Compensation includes a base salary of $100-120k plus a realistic bonus of 15% and a 6% RRSP match.
